One of Ours Willa Cather
These images depict two copies of Willa Cather’s One of Ours (Pulitzer Prize-Fiction, 1923) held by The Gianakos-Safos Collection. One is a signed US limited first printing; this copy, which includes another signature from Cather not called for, is from the rarest group of 35 limited copies, of which only 30 were meant for sale. The other images show a first printing with a variant, blue-green dustjacket. The blue-green dustjacket variant is the rarest of three first state runs issued simultaneously, the others having yellow or red dustjackets.
