The Gianakos-Safos Collection holds two copies of T.S. Stribling’s The Store (1933), the first Pulitzer Prize-Fiction winner in history. One copy is a US first printing and first state, while the other copy is a later printing that contains a typewritten and signed letter from the author to a fan. As part of the T.S. Stribling oeuvre, the Collection also includes copies of the author’s novels The Forge and Unfinished Cathedral, which form a trilogy with The Store.
